Our story

Meet Ernie’s

Ernie tending to his garden — Ernie—our beloved Bompa—in his garden.

We’re on a mission to make floral arrangements purely unique and personal to you.

Our style is wildflower running through a fairy garden, mixed with modern techniques. We welcome everyone to blend their vision with our signature style and make something beautiful—guaranteed.

Ernie’s is named after my lovely Grandad, who we called Bompa. He loved everything blooming, growing cut flowers in his garden and fruit and vegetables in his greenhouse. We lost him to Vascular Dementia in 2013, aged 88. His care for the natural world inspires every order and his legacy lives on here.

We’re continually improving our sustainable practices, choosing local flowers where possible and using environmentally friendly foam—or avoiding it altogether.

Every tribute is bespoke, created around your wishes and delivered to your chosen funeral home on the day. Tell us about your loved one and we can include meaningful colours, flowers from their garden or a treasured keepsake. We can also remake a tribute into smaller arrangements after the service—please just ask.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you deliver?

Delivery is free to Padiham addresses. A small delivery fee applies beyond Padiham, and UK-wide delivery may be available for suitable items—please enquire.

How much notice do you need?

As much notice as possible is always helpful, especially for weddings, funeral flowers and bespoke work. Short-notice orders may still be possible, so please call or send an enquiry.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photograph?

Every arrangement is unique. Seasonal availability means individual flowers may change, but we will keep to your chosen mood, colours, value and Ernie’s signature wild style.

Can you deliver directly to a funeral home?

Yes. Bespoke tributes can be delivered to your chosen funeral home on the day of the funeral. Please include the funeral home, service date and time in your enquiry.
