Your information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ernie’s Floral Design handles the personal information you share when making an enquiry or flower request.
Who we are
ERNIE’S FLORAL DESIGN LTD (company number 17190222), whose registered office is 28 Burnley Road, Padiham, Burnley, England, BB12 8EU, is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact us at erniesfloraldesign@gmail.com or 07747 792515.
Information we collect
We collect the details you choose to submit, including your name, contact details, flower requirements, recipient and delivery information, dates, card messages and other notes. Our hosting systems may also process basic technical information needed to keep the website secure and working.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, discuss availability and prices, arrange flowers and delivery or collection, provide customer service, prevent spam and meet legal or accounting obligations. We do not automatically add enquiry customers to marketing lists.
Customer accounts
Supabase Auth processes your email address and verifies your sign-in code so you can securely access your own account. We use your account identity to connect your flower club records to you. Authentication emails are used for account access, not marketing. You can add your name, phone number and delivery address in My Account. Approved Ernie’s managers can see these details to provide customer service. Optional email marketing permission is recorded separately with the wording and submission date; you can withdraw it in My Account. Withdrawing marketing permission does not stop essential account or booking messages.
Our lawful basis
We normally process enquiry details to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement and to fulfil an agreed order. We may also use information where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, or to meet a legal obligation.
Sharing and retention
Information is shared only with service providers needed to host and operate the website, or with delivery and professional services where needed to fulfil your request. We do not sell personal information. Enquiry records are kept only as long as reasonably required for customer service, legal and accounting purposes.
Your rights
UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information, and to object or complain. Contact us first so we can help. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
